Conservation, refurbishment and restoration of historic and listed properties
The Practice has carried out works of alteration, extension, reconstruction, refurbishment and conservation to a number of listed (Grade I, II* and II) and historic buildings for both the commercial and private sector. Our approach is based upon a full survey and understanding of the existing building's construction, followed by the design of sympathetic repair and improvement works using traditional techniques and materials based, where practical, on the philosophy promoted by the Society for the Protection of Ancient Buildings - www.spab.org.uk.
